kate sheppard

 

Introduction. 

Kate sheppard is a woman who was born 1847 in a town in england called Liverpool and had also given females freedom by doing a protest such as the women's suffrage movement on 19 of september in 1893 and was first  to protest in new zealand within time it spreaded all over the globe.

What it was like in the 18th hundreds.

Back in the 18th hundreds because of the women's suffrage movement it was illegal for women to vote for any protest and could not open a bank without their dad or husband or even sell their own land to another owner without permission.

Getting to vote.

Kate shepherd had also go around new zealand when getting her petition after going around new zealand for six years and a law was made for women to vote for anything but the signature paper had over 500 pages of people’s signatures going to participate in the women's suffrage movement back in 1893 19th of september

Conclusion

Kate shepherd was a very worthy person and had also given freedom to the woman in order to sell their own land, open their own bank and work for more jobs she had freed women from finally getting demanded by men.

task description: today i have been working on money and decimals i really enjoyed it why because  the task was challenging it was really fun and also good to learn.

 year 8 highlight the year 8 made a descriptive speech the speech was nice and very respectful they showed support but i think that it was good that they went to camp so that it showed them the outside world or how they do things out in the wild and also learn things that were fun like paintball and archery.

 task description: today i finished of a work sheet we had to figure out all the question but i thought this story was hard because   we have to keep reading and memorising the questions but i also learnt that in the story even though you have a person that drinks beer they will always love you no matter what.

today we made a spaghetti tower out of spaghetti we were trying to build it tall as we can but then it had got busted by falling over on one side so the photo we took was sent the best so we ha dent taking a photo but it was kinda big and this is the end of this story.

back to school is awesome when we came back to have a talk of a exceptional warm welcome back when we ended up finessing our speech we all headed to the hall to see every one and listen to some  interesting story's and some entertaining videos like team one had a video of what people do in there own life style like what you in your how you do this in your life like if you buy purchased an item they wonder how you do that like do you work for a job like make a type of food like something different to other people like this photo here
